About the Event

Co-presented with Synergetic Press, this special gathering will celebrate the wisdom and teachings of Grandmother Flordemayo, a revered Indigenous Elder, healer, and founding member of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers.


The afternoon will include:

Live Reading from Grandmother Flordemayo – Experience her voice as she brings her chapter to life, offering a glimpse into the depth of her wisdom.


A Journey Through Legacy – Learn about The Path, the nonprofit she founded, dedicated to preserving Indigenous wisdom, heirloom seeds, and spiritual teachings.


An Immigration Story – Hear Grandmother Flordemayo’s deeply personal journey from her homeland in Central America to the land she now calls home, New Mexico, where she has lived for more than 30 years.


A Sacred Conversation with Heather – As her daughter and the program director of The Path, Heather will offer insight into their shared mission and the importance of continuing this sacred work for future generations.
